THE FIRST 90 DAYS
- Gather data, insights. Shape the integrated approach. Align diaries
- Set some goals, share a tested-method, co-build a detailed plan. Deep dive in key areas to build technical understanding
- Reflect on the opportunities and risks presented by the first 90 day plan, plus personal coaching goals, and explore options, develop mental models for delivering on these as a leader.
- Once in role test assumptions, challenge and build, tune plan and personal style, encourage, listen. Ongoing coaching
- Reflect. Set some goals, develop some new tools and techniques. Get started and make sustainable
- Extend knowledge and skills meaningfully in a selected area
- Expedite some key areas of admin which are a potential disruption during transition between roles without a PA
- Expand thinking re a potential bucket list to incorporate in any “time off”. Tick-off meaningful achievements
- Understand what’s “on your mind” and may be distracting from work, which is within your control to influence
- Within reason, provide support to address this effectively
- Document plans and other key “deliverables”
- Other activities to “make life easier” through transition
