BESPOKE
Our approach is bespoke. In other words, whilst its based on best-practice models and techniques, its configured for you and your situation. First, you’ll choose your Coach based on your chemistry with them. They will be your point-person throughout your relationship with amber2go. Depending what you’ve selected in terms of services from amber2go, your Coach will also integrate the various amber2go colleagues/ expertise in a way which is pragmatic and impactful, and suits your preferred way of working.
We’ll co-build a 90 day plan with you based around our method and your particular situation, considering such things as type of transition and timeline, the system in which you will be working, your new role and responsibilities, goals, experience, a fact-base of relevant situational data, key stakeholders, relationships, sensitivities. Our approach embodies an ancient Chinese proverb: “Give a [man] a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a [man] to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.” So we are intentionally light on PPT decks , portals, keynote speeches and other, and heavy on co-building to leverage relevant experience, combine and develop insights, build authentic ownership and understanding, build confidence into execution, helping you to be successful.
We’ll coach you individually before you start and/ or when you start (including at that point with a team or within a system if you prefer and where appropriate) in confidence, based on your own strengths, weaknesses and hidden resources, the known unknowns and the unknown unknowns, the local “culture”, to execute on the plan in the most effective way, maybe using your own team members where appropriate, or bringing in people to role-play to bring certain situations to life. Coaching areas can relate to pretty much anything, though your awareness of yourself and pending situation, and our experience may home in on a few areas in particular, which can include leadership, communication, self-management, and dealing with certain situations. We’ll utilize your own experiences, and draw on many relevant other experiences to generate and test hypotheses and WHAT-IF, develop different working styles and mental models as appropriate, to help you to navigate and deliver, tuned towards “optimal” outcomes.
